Cygnus Clinic -arvostelu

The medical aspect of our experience is a 10/10 . Just a few administrative hiccups / miscommunications brought it down a few points, nothing major though.

Went in for breast lift and thigh liposuction. The surgeon is an absolute artist, and on a medical due diligence side, I can’t fault them, they were more careful than surgeons here in Australia. The stitching work is better than Australia.

The Hotel we stayed at was nice, it was so much better than the reviews I saw of it online and I was sad to leave.

I would definitely recommend them and go back, but I wouldn’t get lipo again purely as the recovery was harder on my body (which has nothing to do with the clinic)

I am writing exactly 4 months since my surgery with Cygnus. My experience with Cygnus was fantastic from start to finish. Any stress or nervousness was entirely on me. All the girls, nurses and doctors treated me with utmost respect and care. I felt safe and am very happy with the results, my scars have healed wonderfully with no problems at all.

The whole team at Cygnus was absolutely incredible, the communication was excellent and the hospitality was also amazing. I had rhinoplasty done as I had breathing issues one side of my nose due to a broken nose and post surgery my breathing has been restored to its original capacity although I am still healing. The cosmetic side was also improved as my nose is also straightened, I could not flaw any aspect of the whole process as everyone was so helpful, especially Yagmur who helped me with so many extra things beyond the surgery.

I highly recommended Cygnus Clinic to anyone looking to get any treatment in the future.

I had my first surgery in my life at the the Cygnus clinic. I was super nervous but holy when I say the team and doctors went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and safe. My breast reduction surgery was a huge success. I just want to thank everyone at the clinic who was there for me and made sure I had everything I needed. I’m one year post off and I never been any happier with my results. I am now booking my next surgery with this clinic. Thanks again !!

I recently had rhinoplasty at Cynius Clinic and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience, from start to finish. The staff was incredibly attentive, helping with every detail—from booking and pre-arrival questions to coordinating my arrival in Istanbul.

A special mention goes to Ceren, my coordinator, who made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. She guided me through each step of the hospital experience and recovery, always ready to answer my questions and address any concerns. Ceren’s responsiveness was outstanding; she always replied within minutes, making me feel truly cared for and safe, even continuing to check in after I’d returned home.

I’d also like to extend a big thank you to Dr. Sinan Eroglu, whose reassuring approach on the day of surgery put me at ease. He took the time to understand my desired results and explained any limitations, giving me full confidence in the outcome.

On the day 12th of October 2024, I got a surgery operation through Cygnus clinic held by Dr. Faruk Kocak.

I decided to get a 360 abdominoplasty, after several live consultations with many surgeons who suggested me abdominoplasty 360 plus lipo 360.

Also the photo consultation I had with Cygnus clinic, through Mrs L.U., confirms I do need a 360 abdominoplasty.

I got a quote for abdominoplasty 360 + lipo 360 by Cygnus.

The day of the intervention, Dr Kocak ( who is not speaking english), comes to my room at hospital, visits me, draws some sketches on my body.

Conditions of Cygnus contract says the Dr has the final word on the operation so he can decide to operate in a different way

Furthermore, it is written that the customer can refuse the operation if the final evaluation of the Dr is different from the quote.

At this point nobody told me anything, nor the assistant of the doctor or the coordinator of Cygnus clinic, an italian speaking guy ( Riccardo ) responsible of the communication between the parts.

If anybody had communicated me at this point any change, I would have changed my mind and refused any operation.

I pay at this moment the due amount for what I got quoted, which was a 360 abdominoplasty + lipo 360 confirming I am entering the op room for the quoted and expected operation.

After the operation, I am spending my days at the hotel, with the mess, physical and psychological, that occurs in this case.

On the day 16th of October, 4 days after the operation, I realize something is not ok with my back and my flanks.

I ask the masseuse if everything is ok with my operation in my back for 360 abdominoplasty.

It is in this moment I discover I got no 360 abdominoplasty.

nobody before this moment communicated anything to me.

I suddenly reach the coordinator, who writes me that doctor decided not to intervene not to ruin my back ( according to him…).

At this point he really calmly tells me that they will pay me back 700euro as refund for the part of operation not done ( total of operation is 7290euro lumpsum so I have no idea from where this 700 euro comes..)

I replied that we will talk about what happened but I can’t accept this solution. Mr Riccardo confirms I am for sure right because the Dr did not communicate anything at all.

Nobody from Cygnus approached me until 18th of October ( flight back is on 19th) when I communicate to Mr Riccardo and Mr L.U. my intention to proceed together with a lawyer ( italian) to have the refund of all the difficulties I am still living

My legal is in charge to try to find an amicable way, a refund for the mistake they did, as they admitted.

In this moment I am called by Mrs L.U. who, very rudely,(6 days after an invasive surgery operation ) tells me that I should be grateful to the doctor, she confirms it was a mistake from Cygnus not to communicate anything to me, she says they are sorry, that if I go through lawyer I will obtain nothing because she had a cause for 14 years and she got nothing (!), that my operation was perfect…

She proposes, also, to have another operation for my back ( I can not believe this is serious, another operation with somebody I do not trust, new flight, new anesthesia, new pain..).

Nothing happens after this.

On the day 25th of October my lawyer sends a mail to Cygnus with an official letter as attachment. I send a copy to Mrs L.U., and I ask to be put in contact with a director, a manager, a responsible, in order to find an amicable way before to proceed with the court.

No response at all, only a short response from Mrs L. Uman who tells me that my lawyer will be able to find himself the way.

In this letter my lawyer asks the total refund of the amount (in order to close, as said, in amicable way the issue.

On 5th November, I reached operation specialist of Cygnus clinic ( Mrs S. Y.) asking a feedback. On the same day, Mrs L.U. comes back, asking what my proposal is.

I invite her to read the letter of my lawyer and to be put in contact with a responsible, because I have no more trust in her.

Firstly she says she is not responsible. In a second moment, she tells me she is the responsible.

The response is they are not taking in any consideration my lawyer because it is a menace.

Later in the same day , 6th of November, today, my lawyer reaches L.U. who says to him they are not forwarding the mail of my lawyer to their legal because it is a mail.

At the moment I am still waiting official apologies from Cygnus clinic for their mistake, I had no response from any person but L.U., not considering the intervention of my lawyer.

On 7th Nov. Cygnus and Dr. blocked my access to the their social pages

I’m from Vancouver Canada and I flew to Istanbul for a removal of my old breast implants and a breast lift. I did a lot of research, talked to multiple clinics/ doctors and speaking to the coordinator Eren really solidified my decision. I addressed my concerns with my old implants and expectations about what I wanted and he fully heard me out. His English is perfect, he is kind and prompt with replying back to my messages. I didn’t feel as nervous about flying to Turkey for my procedure because I felt I was in good hands. Another coordinator, Yagmur, who was also my translator for my doctor (Dr. Ömer Faruk Kocak) was so kind, spoke perfect English as well and provided my medication. I couldn’t have gone with a better clinic and I am incredibly happy with my results by Dr. Ömer. He actually exceeded my expectations on what my new chest would look like. I am healing well, no concerns at all. Overall, a very seamless experience. Thank you so much Cygnus Clinic for taking care of me. I will refer many people to you!!!

The reason why I am writing this review is because I missed my flight to Perth because of this company. The driver didn’t show up on time and i had to buy another ticket.. Which was worst case scenario for me.

As a single woman coming from the other side of the world and not speaking the local language, I had nothing to do but trust the hours given by the company. And then that happened.

Btw, Cygnus Clinic is not a real healthcare institution. I never saw any label of Cygnus Clinic anywhere. They accept applications online and process transactions with doctors and hospitals they have agreements with. In short, they are just acting as a doctor broker/management company. And this does not inspire confidence at all.

The problem is that this situation raises the question of whether I will be able to find someone to talk to if I have a problem related to surgery in the future.

In case of a pandemic or war, when the borders are closed, probably I will not be able to find a contact person from this company, which deeply saddens me. I am waiting for the first year of the operation to write my full comments, if necessary I will write a blog about this subject. Stay tuned.

I’m so so so relieved I came to Cygnus. I was drained just researching away as trusting in the right clinic can be nothing short of strenuous and exhausting. After doing my digging I decided to go with Cygnus. I got a face-lift with a breast augmentation. I was torn between 3 major clinics but having a surgeon who was an actual Professor was an easy choice. I was shocked to get the price and receive such amazing service along with it. What a gem of a Company! Im beyond satisfied and I can’t stop starring at myself. It’s a miracle and they should be thanked over and over again. Thank you for everything! I’ll never forget you!

I made my first contact with Eren, who was very informative, friendly, knowledgeable, always responsive and most importantly assisted in every way possible. He is a great asset to the company.

Procedure went well and I came across other friendly staff that assisted along the way.

This Clinic was one of the best, I was shocked to have come across a medical advisor who was not only knowledgeable but a native from my country (USA) … I’ve done extensive research on surgeries in Turkey. The media has always shed light on some of the heinous situations that happen year in year out. But after it all, I decided to take the leap and I must say I’m just overcome with joy. Rhinoplasty changed my life for the better. Eren was especially helpful and so informative. He never pushed me he stayed patient and took my calls and never left me unresponsive. True professional. Dr. Sinan, not much needs to be said about him. He’s just a magician. A very personable doctor if I’ve ever seen one. To all the coordinators, the staff.
