PART 1
Wow, let me begin by saying that a 1-star rating is already excessively high for a clinic that operates in such a manner! Please refrain from considering using their services for any of their offerings. However, if you proceed in doing so anyway, or happen to already have deposits and other aspects of your trip payed for, then I’ll give you a breakdown of what to expect based on my personal experience. (This is a lengthy read, and I couldn’t fit it all here so look out for my second part and skip to the bottom of it for a summary in all caps.)
Even before arriving in Turkey, I encountered issues with the professionalism of my coordinator, Chanez. Who actually got fired during my trip. Chanez created a Letter of Commitment that outlined the procedures I would undergo (hair transplant and veneers), the number of nights of my accommodation (6 nights), and the cost of my procedure, including the deposit. My doubts should have started then, as the letter was merely a fuzzy screenshot with the clinic’s stamp on it. However, I digress. After paying the deposit and receiving the receipt, I noticed a significant discrepancy—the hotel accommodation had only been booked for 3 nights! Naturally, I expressed this concern to Chanez, and her response was rather dismissive:
“Hello dear,
No, it’s a mistake. It’s 4 days, 3 nights. Not 6.”
Even after showing her my flight confirmation and expressing my dissatisfaction with her actions, she insisted that my only option was to book an additional three nights at a rate of €86 per night. What on earth?! It was your error, and I should have to bear the cost? I obviously didn’t, and personally sought to have the extra nights at a different hotel, which I’m so glad I did because there were numerous issues I discovered with the low-cost motel she had booked for me – it’s called Milord, but more on that later. Chanez also failed to provide me with a profile of the doctor performing my operation, along with preliminary information such as the time I should arrive at the clinic for my consultation and any dietary restrictions. My translator had to come to my motel at 9:30 am to pick me up because they had been expecting me since 7 am. But how could I have known that when I reached out to Chanez on the night of my landing and the morning of my operation to no avail? That’s when I realized that there was no efficient communication between the coordinators and translators either.
Now here’s where things take a turn for the worst, and I begin to notice the shady nature of this place. Keep in mind that I had only paid the deposit and brought the remaining amount in cash with me. My plan was to only carry the operation fee in cash and use my visa for the rest of the trip. When I was finally escorted to the clinic and before I could even have the consultation, I listed out all my concerns and sought a compensation that covered the additional cost of the different hotel. Reluctantly, the clinic finally agreed to reduce the fee by €150, which still didn’t cover half the price. Foolishly, I removed the envelope containing all my cash, and all the hospital staff could see the bundles inside it. I took out the money for the transplant, minus the €150, as the veneers would be performed at a different location, and proceeded to my consultation.
Fast forward to my actual procedure. I had to undergo it awake because, again, I wasn’t informed that I shouldn’t have eaten. The process was excruciating, to say the least. I required numerous anesthesia shots that left me with a swollen face. As the day ended and I was gathering my belongings from my designated room, I had a random thought to check on the cash I had brought with me since the clinic had only been showing me nothing but red flags. Was I surprised that the money in the envelope was not the same amount as after I had paid for the transplant? Short answer, no. €250 was missing. I quickly did the math and knew that they had taken back the €150 and the disgraceful thief took an extra €100 for themself! What a horrible start to my trip! It was only day one and I couldn’t help but contemplate the experiences of others who must have endured similar treatment at that God-forsaken place. I reported the incident to the administration, but that only went as well as you could think. They are corrupt, and naturally, the next day they informed me that they couldn’t find anything because the entire floor was poorly lit, rendering the CCTV footage unreliable. At this point, I had lost all faith in that clinic. Even if I had wanted to proceed with the veneers, I would have had to withdraw the €100 from my visa. Such a bitter experience left an indelible sour taste in my mouth. Hamza, the person I had reported this issue to, will forever have a negative image in my mind.
I recently had a hair transplant at Cevre Hospital. Dr. Dondu is a very good doctor and she is also a very caring person. The procedure was virtually painless and I am very satisfied with the results. Tasneem kept me informed about everything and was wonderful as well. I also am very grateful to Hamza for his daily assistance and can’t thank Leo Badr enough for organizing my hair transplant and major dental work: 10 implants. He kept me informed at every step of the way and even stopped by in person to explain anything that was complicated or confusing. Leo also made sure my ride to the airport was on time since I had to leave the hotel at 0500. I have nothing but praise for the people at Cevre. I will leave additional comments once the dental work (25 crowns) is completed! Finally, Ibrahim picked me up at the airport (IST) and at my hotel (Milord) on my day of departure. He was very pleasant, professional, and courteous.
I visited the hospital couple of times for different procedures, and every single time the staff was helpful and respectful. They’re also very good at answering questions about a particular procedure you might be interested in. Highly recommend!
I have been to cevre hospital in Istanbul. I got eye lifting operation. It is good. My doctor is Aykut Ozdemir , I an thanking him. Also the other person. Tasnim helped me very much. Eye department coordinator Sevgi is grateful person. Lastly I giving my best regards for his kindness to Prof. OZKANCA. I advise everybody
I book an appointment with the hospital and on the day they told me I need a treatment which was including some injections and acupuncture over 3 sessions and charge me 76 000 Turkish liras. On the day I wasn’t realising how much money is that and that the treatment is absolute fraud!!! Be aware to don’t go to this hospital as is the worst possible experience. I’m still waiting for refund 3 months later and they don’t answer to me.

Staff and service is amazing, treatments are spot on, been here 3rd time and have sent few other people too. For hair transplant and liposuction. Nurses (Feyza, Berfin, Aleyna, Betul, Aysha) they kept checking every few mins even through the night, Dr Oguz who carried out operation, and Prof Ozkanca Patient right executive
I was here for my abdominoplasty and thanks to Dr Ali Cen everything was good,a special thanks to Prof.Ozkanca always available for anything,my translator Denis was very kind and helped me a lot,and a very special thanks to the nurses(all of them they was really kind)and the room services lady they was the best,they make you feel so easy and comfortable here.
The best and experienced surgeon Dr Ali Cem, really did a good job i never expected. The hospital it’s self, the transport, food, staff was so amazing. I recommend everyone who wants the best hospital to visite CEVRE HOSPITAL. Thank you so much to Zain Alwindian who gave me the best advice. I came for the USA to get a hair transplant at Cerve hospital with Dr dondu . It was a wonderful experience, great staff and work ethic. My translator was Hiba she was very patient and professional she explained everything to me carefully before and after the surgery. I will return back here to give a follow up review on my hair growth but so far, am loving my new look! I am so happy
